8 speed transmission slipping when cold.

This morning I started my drive in tow/haul instead of normal. It did not slip in tow/haul but when I switched back to normal it did.

Tow haul is more likely to go through each gear whereas normal will skip for gears for efficiency, maybe my TCM is having trouble8 deciding if it should skip?

Do a Trans Fluid change. Measure precisely how much you drain out - should be about 4-1/2 qts. Refill-Warm up and check level via small plug on drivers side.(jackup,remove wheel/tire, relevel - remove fill level plug - some fluid should drain out - add Fluid as needed)
Get a Dip stick or use a piece of Coat Hanger - straight down - bottom out - mark level - That's your Full Mark.

If they aren't sorted by the time the competition comes then Ford is going to see a lot of potential buyers moving to the others. A huge segment of the Maverick community that I have seen are older people, the Toyota and Honda for life type. People more than capable and willing to pay the premium of a Toyota in the segment.
