7E8, 7EE, 7EC error codes

does anybody know most common causes for these error codes? I’m most concerned with the first one since it pops right back after clearing it. Some of these can be no worry and no harm if it takes time to get to the shop, but I’d like to be more certain!

Had the same codes show up today - not much available on search engines identifying the issues. Local service departments are closed until Monday. Does anyone know if these codes are serious enough to not drive the truck?

Where/how are you seeing those codes? Usually there's at least a couple more digits.

If it is P07EC is gear select center button not functioning correctly.

If it is P07E8 may be something related to not going into park or not coming out of park correctly.

On the third if P07EE that just says transmission multi-selector. The three are grouped in a similar range, probably, some how related to the gear selector knob or what the truck does after you twist the knob.

I don't know if it's the same case here, but someone on Reddit had reported similar GSM-ish codes that didn't fully map to the listed GSM codes (P07EE and P07E8 aren't valid codes for the Maverick). They didn't give full details, but responded back to me it was just some user error in utilizing the scanner. I can't find the exact thread since they deleted it.

Thanks everyone. I did clear the code and if it comes back again, I’ll seek correction at my dealer.
