Got my delivery, they are installed but I will need to edit the video before I can post anything- file size too large.

No weird flickering very smooth transition. The whites are very clear and bright when DTL's are on.

They only thing I notice is it takes about one second after you switch the turn signal off to go back to white.
looking forward to seeing how they look

The original bulbs may be able to be used in lieu of chicom load resistors, I have used bulbs in many similar situations as load resistors, even fuses sometimes. If I can come up with a spare socket I may experiment a bit

Looks much more premium and should've just been on the car already, watching thread for Forscan update.
Yeah, this is another one of those penny pinching moves where just a few bucks extra can be transformative. But there's a guy on a comittee that says "hey, $10 saved per car x 300K units sold is $3,000,000, look how much money I've saved you!!!"

JUST ADD RESISTORS!! Leds will never fully function properly without them. This isn’t hard
If they aren't hyperflashing without resistors, then just reprogramming is the best solution as it will use less power, less heat concerns, and you're not touching any wiring. That's what most people do on the Ram forum, albeit with a different tool called AlfaOBD where you just go into a setting in the software after connecting to your OBD2 and switch it to "LED" and it works normally after that.

There's a concern with resistors for XL/XLT switchback models that the resistor could get quite hot since its running constantly for long periods of time instead of just occasional flashes.

That shouldn’t be a concern at all. It’s normal. Again, mount it to metal and there will be zero issue

Man those are bright. The look really nice! I have the same color in an XL hybrid on the way.

I really love how much more premium this looks. I'm going to order a set as well when my truck arrives next year. Is Forscan something connecting through the OBD2 port? I haven't heard of this stuff yet so I'm curious.

Don’t even need to deal with splicing…get resistors like these pictured(just reference pic) and they’ll be plug n play literally

I ordered the Lasfit canbus switchbacks for mine, when or if it ever gets built. I love the idea of more leds.
