6'0" surfboard fits in the bed diagonal

This probably doesn't matter to most people, but I spent a year trying to figure it out. I knew the length would fit, but I'm no mathematician and thought the width might screw me. It fits. Not flat, but it fits under the tonneau cover. WHOOP WHOOP!

I don’t know about that. The board doesn’t fit laying flat.

Did you end up getting a rack? My boards are 6'8 - 10'4 plus an 18' bark prone Paddleboarding. I've been debating on the tailgate approach which would fit most boards or getting Thule racks. I think I have to get Thule racks for my longboard and Paddleboard.

Not yet, still waiting on my Maverick order.

you gonna go roof racks or bed racks? i'm worried i wont like the way the roof racks look, but dont feel like dropping $2000 on bed racks with a tonneau cover.

Roof racks. Good for surfboards and Kayak. Better for me than bed racks.
