Watching now, first catch is that at 3:55 mark he points out the dual ATC climate control system on the XLT they're reviewing. Per the Ford Build Tool and Trim Comparison Sheet (attached) this is only offered as a Standard feature on the Lariat. That would be SWEET if they add it in.

He misspoke, dual-zone ATC is only on the Lariat trim. You can see the head unit shown is the single-zone (fan knob and temp knob).

The Ford engineer guy did a good job, but I didn't get the impression the other guy really knew much about the truck. At one point it seemed that he thought the truck was a plug hybrid. He kept referring to the truck as an entry level vehicle. I'm confident many older folks will buy this truck.

Sandy use to work at ford and is a big Tesla (EV) backer now. For him to be excited about the Maverick is a big indicator that Ford is on to something, I feel the same way. Not everyone is ready for all electric cars, this is the stepping stone until the range gets longer and the charging stations are more plentiful. The combination of a hybrid for $20,000 with a bed is amazing. I reserved one right after it launched.
