I have the 4K, but even with a hybrid I personally wouldn't worry about this trailer solely due to frontal area limit. I suppose I'm a bit biased since I am surely exceeding that metric with my current trailer. But it's a pretty loose guideline and probably more of a concern if you're really pushing the envelope on other metrics such as weight.I’m presuming the frontal area has something to do with the amount of drag created by the object being towed? If so, I’ll be towing a teardrop camper. The roof will stick up maybe 2 or 3 inches above the Maverick. I’m guessing that will still work the 20sf frontal limit. Pic attached of my camper with current Tacoma for reference.

The 2025 has a brake controller, I know I have one.As the 4K tow package comes with a seven pin trailer connector, has there been any mention of brake controllers?
It seems like they're so close to supporting them, it'd be nice to have it as an option to avoid having to install one. I have a 6x12 utility trailer with e-brakes and I'd happily pay for something integrated into the system.
This thing is not correct , I have a 2025 hybrid with the 4K and it came with a brake controller
You are correct now, but when it was posted on January of 2024 it was correct. This thing is not correct , I have a 2025 hybrid with the 4K and it came with a brake controller
