45 days are just about up

I have been reading here that we should be updated at the 45 day mark from order date. I have one day left since the order was done and paperwork was started.

So, do you think I will receive some notice from Ford next week? I'm not expecting any build date or VIN yet but was wondering if they will still contact me be an email.

I never got updated. Call Ford at 1 (800) 392-3673 and provide them your order # and dealer code which can be found on the paperwork I hope you received from your dealer. Ford might then be able to provide you with a vin # you can use to track your builds progress.

Thanks. I contacted Ford about a week ago just to make sure everything was on track, and it all was good. They told me no build date a scheduling was shown yet on their records. She did your vehicle is on the rail to be scheduled at some time but nothing yet.

I was wondering if I still would get something telling me that at 45 day mark.

Some guys did get regular “45 day” updates. I got two in nine months, then put in my rollover order in July. Got verification on the rollover, then a build date about a month later. Bottom line: Who the hell knows what Ford will do regarding updates?

You'll probably get another email telling you to sit tight, sure. They haven't been super strict on the timeline, sometimes it comes at 45, sometimes 50. Sometimes you get an email after your vehicle already has a production week.

'Dear Customer, we haven't even start building the '24s yet so what do you expect from us?'

I got an email from Ford saying it had been 45 day and there was no scheduled build date. I ordered a '24 hybrid. The red color might ad some time but I'm OK with that.

Some people have gotten updates around every 45 days (I did). Others haven't. Others got another one, even though their truck was in production.

Keep in mind, it's an automated email and is not always correct. IOW, one hand doesn't know what the other's doing. If you do not get an email around 45 days, check back with Ford and verify they have your correct email address. However, that is not a guarantee you'll still get the updates.

I've got enough 45 day emails to start a bonfire. F**k Ford and their inept marketing of this product. Maybe if I print them on tissue paper they will be more useful.

They will contact you or they won't. I received my 23 Maverick yesterday. Over a year waiting. One email received confirming order, one 45 day email, one email explained 23 to 24 rollover and that was it.

Update, I did get an email today on the 45th day since I ordered. No schedule date has been set yet and with the parts chain delay things are moving slower. That is basically what it said and that I will be contacted as soon as I build date is scheduled. Will contact in another 45 days with an update.

I was kinda of excited to at least get something confirming an order has been made etc..

This is the only way I found out the Mav was already built! I called the week after! Only good dealers will call you, few and far between.
