Just installed my Truxport bed cover today. I've had one on my Toyota Tundra for 6 years now and even though it's faded and showing some wear, it's still leak free.

Installation was easy but time consuming making sure it's centered and even. I think it could have been and inch or two longer and even a half an inch wider. I'm not that confident it will be as leak free as my Tundra that had more overlap. I'm also wondering if water is going to pool against the cab or will just seep back into the bed. Might get a little more rain this week so I'll find out then.

Was thinking about going for the Truxedo Lo Pro as it seems to fit better, less water leakage, no gaps based on reviews and comparisons. Though it is $200 higher...

Thnx for posting this up. I've got XLT, same color too, ordered that tonneau when I bought the truck over 3 weeks ago, still waiting (on backorder). How'd you get yours?

Looks good! (y)

It's a lot of compromises. The worst parts are giving up visibility over traffic and the wonderful sound of that V8. (I have the TRD exhaust) I also miss not having to back down when idiots try to cut the line or cut me off.

What I don't miss is the $80-90 weekly fill ups, trying to find a parking spot, and paying $1400 for a set of tires. With the crazy used car market I can probably sell my Tundra for good price as well. Earlier this year I sold my Cadillac ATS-V for $5k more than I bought it for.

I don't go offroading anymore except for dirt fireroads that the Maverick can easily handle and I won't be able to load bikes in the bed like before. But it's worth it when I realize that I've had the Maverick for 2 weeks and I still haven't had to go to the gas station.

I've had my TruxSport on my Colorado for four years. I took it to the gulf coast back in September and drove through an hour of torrential tropical rain. Surprisingly, the bed was bone dry as always.

I have used 303 Protectant on it maybe once a year and it looks great, the only sign of age is the logo tag on the rear which has sun-faded. The vinyl looks great.

Is it really that much slower? I was hoping power to weight would make it similar

No, the Maverick is plenty quick and pretty close to the Tundra once the turbo spools up. It's just that driving the Tundra with a massive steel bumper and big LT tires sticking out past the body means that if they hit me it's going to hurt them more than me.

Installed mine this past weekend too! I agreed I feel like it’s not the perfect dimensions. I tried to pull it back to the tailgate as far as possible while still dealing on the bulkhead.
