I have 3D printers
I dont have a maverick
If its an f150 lamp, doesn't a base already exist?
What exactly is it you want?
With the base bumper its easy to mount the foglamp with the oem base . Since theres more space for it.

With the FX4 bumper will need to cut or trim the bumper a bit to make it work im going to make one from fiberglass so it fits flush with the bumper i let you guys know when i finish with it

I wish they would have just made 1 bumper with a covers that went over the hole for the FX4 bumper 😢 that way we could just pop it out.

lol i might have to learn and do it myself lol since i cant find someone with a 3d printer
I assume you got one without the offroad package that don't come with the fog lights and want to create an 3d printable mount for fog lights you would put on an F150 correct. Maybe be able to mock up something in tinkercad or the like... But would need the foglight to get all the measurements and dimensions.

Measurements of fog lamp hole are

120 x 80

Base im thinking

270mm long by 131mm tall

Base could be also 185mm side to side

You are using CAD (Cardboard Aided Design), I still use this method a lot even though I have 3d design software and a few printers, sometimes cardboard is the quickest way to prototype for the first few versions.
:)

Is there any mounting spots, or would it need to be drilled in from the back side? I don't have an FX4 so I can't take a look. I might be interested in taking a stab at this after I finish up a few designs I'm currently working on.

Do you have the the fog light already mounted in this picture, or is the light just sitting in there and could be shifted? I'm wondering if shifting it to the right to center it in the hole, and then make a plate that surrounds it, this might also allow for easier fitment of different fog lights. also thinking about how I can make a plate for those of us that don't have the tow hook cut out.

Also if anyone in SE MI by Metro Airport has a FX4 that I can take some measurements on when it warms up I can speed up design. :)

I have a 3D printer and a Maverick coming in soon (It's on a train). This is one of the first things I'll do. What are suggestions for the switch? Is there a way to tie it to CAN?

I was thinking to cut out this textured area, build a sheet metal mount for some KC Flex ERA 3's then 3D print a cover essentially to finish it off.

Although anything 3D printed on the exterior most likely wouldn't last that long.
Longevity/UV resistance would be my concern, too.
