Some interesting catches. This thing looks low. You see it next next to an expedition and the roof is basically at beltline level. AI claims the beltline of a expedition is 50-55 inches. But I'd say this truck is 60 inches tall at best. So at least 7-8 inches lower than a mav. To but it into comparison, a mustang is 55 inches. So this thing, iff it's 60 or so inches tall, is closer to a mustang in height than a maverick. I personally like that because it makes it feel like a ute, and differentiates it from the maverick.

Other details, the bed looks short. But I think that's because that's a recessed areo trim piece on the back of the cab that extends over the sides and top of the cab for better aero, but is recessed on the inside so you get more bed space. You can see in some of the photos the back of the roof seems to angle in and the rear window looks slightly recessed. So the bed might be longer than how it looks from the side.

The hood is shorter and drops down more than a maverick. So it'll be more aero efficient, but also easier to see out of. I've marked with a red line in one of the images where I believe the top of the front fascia is, and it angles up from there.

Overall, I like it. A sporty, affordable EV ute with a bed pass through and a lot of interior space is a fun idea imo, and it has its own identity rather than just being a maverick, but electric. Let me know if you spot any fun details I didn't.

Looks really promising. Is this going to have AWD option?

I predict that most of that front end is fake and this thing will have a markedly clipped and curved nose, rather than a more traditional truck profile.

something going on with rear window- why is it covered in different material? Could it be a mid-gate?

It will. It angles down near the front bumper. There's some fake boxy padding on this, but you can see following the red line the rough shape of the hood and fender as it angles down. Not radical like a cybertruck or something, but not as boxy and upright in the front as a traditional truck design.

It'll have a midgate. I've heard rumors that the glass might be fixed in place, but part of the bed wall will fold down.

Yep. Rwd and AWD. As for range, it's not gonna be a maverick hybrid going 500 miles, but compared to a lot of affordable EVs that have 100-150 miles of range this thing is gonna be well above that.

I've shared this before, but even though it's covered by a sheet, it gives you an idea of what the dimensions, proportions, and stance will be kinda like seeing as this is basically the only image we have where the truck isn't covered in thick camo padding.

I know to some, this will just look like a black blob, but others might like it. One with a LIDAR bump on the roof, one without, I prefer the one without.

A few details. You get a better idea of how the hood will slope down. You can also see some lines and shapes like a creased line running across the top of the front bumper that wraps around into the fender above the front wheel. You can see a similar horizontal character line running over the rear wheel.

Overall, the mules disguised look kinda meh to me. But I really like the lines and proportions of the uncamo-ed shape under the sheet from what little we can see. It looks low and wide to my eye.

Mid-gate or not, they could've hidden that without all of the covering over the glass. It looks like they are obscuring the aero bits at the roof (looks like a spoiler of some sort) and the C-pillar treatment (I bet it is angled more like a Santa Cruz than the current Maverick).

I think it will be markedly more severe than that line suggests, but you may be right. We'll find out eventually.

The roofline does curve, but from what I've heard, it's mostly a slight coupe shape to the rear off the roofline where it slopes down a few degrees near the back of the cab. But the pillar on the back of the cab is basically straight up and down from what I've heard, or close to it.

You can see how the roofline slopes down gradually in this photo.
