I would love it if someone made a second cat delete pipe with the correct front factory flange for the Maverick with Ecoboost. With all the cat theft problems in my area I would put that on in a second and just leave the factory cat upstairs in my garage until I need it for emission testing or when I sell it. Plus it would give a couple HP and small amount of character to the exhaust note as a side benefit. It would take out this cat in our trucks

We are installing this cat/resonator delete in my daughters Forte GT next week. Nice bolt in setup with a "sport" resonator

Thats the beauty of the second cat delete on both my vehicles. There is no 02 sensors for the second cat. The O2 sensors are before and after the first cat which is in the section of pipe in front of the second cat.

I could cut the Maverick cat out but would prefer as close to a factory setup as possible with the factory flange at the front.

Take a skinny bugger to slip under a Maverick to take your cat.

Cat thieves do not care how low or tall the car/truck is. They will leave the bottle jack and saw blades behind for you to clean up. The maverick is simple to get under.

What breed of cats are being targeted?

It's a cat that isn't metered so deleting it is fine. Won't trigger any CEL.

Why not just cut and clamp straight pipe in? Seems like the easiest and cheapest option.

Good luck. EPA is cracking down on shops that build these. No one wants to make them or install anymore. Shops are getting raided big time!
