I love this truck, it has an adult horn, it feels like a truck, sounds like a truck (when the gas one is on) and it has more power than I think I have had in a vehicle since my ‘68 Cougar…wait, the B2300 might have had a 6…but it was a short love affair…now I have to get back to peeling these damn red pieces of plastic off the double stick tapes in all my 400 accessories. The good thing is our spare bedroom is no longer a Maverick parts depot…all you Hybrid owners, I got 100% braking on the first day..neener neener neener..was it worth the 656 days wait? Ask me in 656 days…

Love to see another long waiter get their unicorn. :D Great color! :) So far it has definitely been worth the wait for us. The first month I did not even drive it about 150 miles. Now on a cross country road trip it has been a great companion. Congrats and enjoy!

First think I remember is being surprised at the ride and handling. It felt much more sure footed than my last truck and cornered firmly. The power is great, I think the computer takes the edge off to preserve the transmission, but dang it can accelerate at highway speed.

Enjoy!

I had a 67 Cougar once upon a time. 289 4bbl 4spd. Rusted to hell but I felt cool!

Sadly, (and it was in excellent shape) I sold the Cougar and used the money to replace the engine in my VW Combi…which had a Porsche 914 engine…”The Flying Brick”

Yes the horn is one of the better features. I think there are two actually.

Waiting must have been terrible but in turn, hopefully you bypassed all the early build problems and had a foothold on the early purchase price.. cheers!
