'25 Lariat Hybrid - Android Auto not showing vehicle icon in Google Maps?

In the last couple days, my Android Auto has stopped showing my vehicle icon on the navigation map when I'm using Google Maps. The map still tracks my location, just my vehicle icon is not present. But if I shift into park after my commute to work is done, the vehicle icon then sometimes shows up on the map. Is anyone else seeing this, and if so, is it likely an Android Auto, or a Maverick issue? I've recently received updates on both the Maverick and also Google Maps / Android Auto, so it's impossible to say which update may have caused this issue.

I was having the same issue in my wife's 2019 Chrysler Pacifica last weekend. Thought it was weird, but didn't think to troubleshoot. I have a Google Pixel 10 phone and was plugged in to the USB in the van.

That would happen to me once in a while in my 22 FX4 with sync 3 one of my nerd friends said reboot phone, and that worked, you can also reboot system volume and forward button, I think. Never happen in my new truck with sync 4.

Update Google Maps in your phone device

Try clearing your cache in the Google Maps app on your phone.
