225/45/17 tire replace 225/65/17 original tire

on the 2023 Maverick XL ,can i replace 225/45/17 with my original tire on my maverick Xl ?

You will reduce the diameter of the tire by 90 millimetres with that size.. At 52 MPH your speedometer will read 60. The width of the tire will remain the same. And you will lose ground clearance but i guess that's what you're aiming to do. It will most likely have a drastic effect on the transmission shift points.

Oh that much the reason I m asking is on the Bronco sport have those tires 225/45/17 ? On those wheels I like to put those wheels and tires on the Maverick XL steelie with original 225/65/17

You sure about that size? I find no mention of 45-aspect ratio tires on a Bronco Sport.

Guess that I am just an old fart. I do not change tires until the tread depth or age requires it. And then I stay with the same size; but upgrade to a higher quality tire.

No model of the Bronco Sport comes with that tire size. They use the same standard tire that the Maverick uses, 225/65R17. They are also available with the same Falken upgraded tire; 235/65R17 as well as a 225/60R18 on the Outerbanks trim. I'm not sure where you got your info from but it's incorrect.

Some guys local sell that rim and tire with that so let me reconfirm that the right size or not ,he said his son took off from 2022 Bronco sport for upgrading big tires and rims ,never touch or remove anything????

If that's what is on the wheels then they are not the stock tires, no Bronco sport came with that size tire, they came with the same 225/65R17 Continental tires that the Maverick comes with stock.
