thanks, is there some type of single lug nut that must be removed and then replaced when reinstalling?I just fit a true full size 225/65-17 on mine and wanted to add some pics and some tips for anyone wanting to upgrade from the stupid donut spare. Even the optional "full size" spare has limitations if you read the owner's manual.
When cranking the spare into place make sure it's not swinging or it might get caught on the front stopper which will push the tire towards the bumper and contact the hitch (if equipped). The tire should end up level.

IMO the donut spare can be dangerous in a few situations like when you have a heavy load, are towing or you're in bad weather. I always seem to get a flat when I'm up in the mountains so having a true full size spare is one less thing to worry about.
