Waited 11 months. Numerous recalls (7), including pending whole engine replacement. Now I have to jump the vehicle 1-3X daily just to get it running. Ford promises a fix in Q1 2025. I can't trust my truck. Ford could give a rat's ass. I'll let my attorney handle it. Damn you Ford. Take some responsibility for a poorly manufactured vehicle.

I’m so glad I got a 2024 eco AWD.
Keep telling yourself that.

315 miles to go on 3/8 of a tank.
In mild weather, 800+ miles per tank is not difficult in the hybrid.

Cheers.

I'm a capitalist, I can afford the Gasoline.
For now :'P
I may sing a different tune when it hits $5 a gallon.

I got my 2021 Bronco Sport Base to show 38 mpg average once over a slow drop of 800 feet of elevation then followed with 110 miles of flat land driving at 50 mph once. That was fun but not realistic for my Appalachian mountain roads.

I don't doubt your numbers at all but !
I was born with Internal combustion engines and I hope I die before petroleum runs out.

Me too! Keep it simple
BUT ! I suspect that if we hit $5 or $6 a gallon everything will be hybrid or EV.
We should have went to Hydrogen 30 years ago. Just to have a second option.

Could be for sure. My logic for not going Hybrid was that I tend to keep my vehicles for a long time. I traded a 2002 Ranger in on my Mav. I worried about the 'real' life span of a Hybrid. I've heard after 10 years things go south in a hurry. All the money you saved in gas is now going to repairs. I also moved from CA to NM 5 years ago. $5 gas is not uncommon is San Diego Co. In NM I'm paying $2.39 currently. The future is unknown, you make your best guess and move forward. Having said all that I friggin' love my Maverick. Glad I got the Lariat with all the extras. My only complaint is that the leather seats needed to be vented!

I wouldn't have minded a hybrid but I believe back in April of 2024 when I first looked and ordered I don't believe you could get a hybrid in all-wheel drive. And I don't believe they had announced yet that the 2025 would have it. And I also wanted the 4K towing which I don't believe was available on the hybrid for 2024 either.

Doesn't the EB have more moving parts AND more recalls / service issues?

Thought I saw a statistic somewhere once or twice...
