2026 vs 2025 and XLT vs Lariat Black Appearance Package Hood Decals?

Was there a change to the BAP in 2026 vs 2025 and is the BAP the same on the Lariat vs the XLT?

I ordered a 2026 XLT with Velo BLue with the BAP (mostly because i didnt like the neon blue accents in interior).

At the dealership i saw the BAP on a light blue mav and it has solid black decals but i have seen some photos of 2025 mavs with bap and its a silver decal with black outline, at least on blue and reds... but it might be a 2025 thing or perhaps the decals are different on Lariats.

anyone have a photo of the BAP on a Velo Blue 2026 XLT? Curious what i will be getting. even fords builder doesnt show the effects of adding bap on xlt on the exterior pics, only interior. its does for lariat (where its solid black) and not the silver i have seen.

Do you have a pic of silver decals in daylight, because I've never seen one. My 25 is black decals which are reflective and can look silver at night in certain lighting conditions. In total darkness my home security cameras shows them as silver under UV illumination.

Here’s a pic of my 25 XLT, up close and far away. It’s definitely not pure black. In bright sunshine it shines. I also looked at some 2026s at dealer sites, but I could only find the ford provided pics. I was hoping to find some dealer pics, but the official ones seem more of a matte black finish.

i just saw a 26 xlt velo blue with bap on reddit and it looks much blacker so i dont know if its just the light or if there was a change... though even here you can sorta see that its not 100% black. Either way it looks sharp..

Yes, it's black from far away when you can't see the reflectivity. The outline is non-reflective black. I believe the term for the reflective is "retro-reflective" or something like that. It's little beads within the paint which reflect the light back at a source. I think it's the same stuff used on street signs.
