Can anyone with access to the 2025 Maverick part numbers confirm (or not) that the the 25 will use the same part # MX7118D804GE for the standard non-BO radio module as the 22-24 model years ?
I will be installing a powered subwoofer behind the back seat, just like I have done in my 23, and I would like to know if I can order the same wiring harness from Plug N Play kits. They let me buy just the one part that I needed for my application and it worked out great (no splicing).

I would call Plug N Play, I'm sure they are working to find out about 25 models now.

Don't all 2025 Mavs come with sync4 regardless of Trim? 2022-2024 B&O was just Sync3 and XL/XLT was some kind Sync2Lite, no?
Yes, all 25s come with sync 4, but the radio modules are separate from the sync system, even though they are controlled through the sync system.

Hi, so let me say if you have B&O you definitely do NOT need a subwoofer. Did you know the B&O system installed especially the speakers are specifically designed for the exact model. The attention to detail is amazing and the sound is symphony hall quality. How do I know this, because I am proud to say that I helped bring B&O to Ford before any other US manufacture and as a past B&O franchise store owner you need to make sure you get the right one if you are adding but I would not recommend it unless you absolutely want it. The pleasure of having B&O makes your Ford experience amazing even more. Enjoy. You can always contact B&O for assistance in Denmark or seek out a B&O Auto Forum for help. That's my two cents worth :) Enjoy

Yes, I'm aware that the BO system already comes with a subwoofer, but I was asking about a non-BO system. The non-BO stereo is devoid of base, more so than any vehicle I've owned or driven since the 80s. I really wish Ford would offer the BO system as an option on trims other than Lariat or above, but they don't.

The Lariat trim forces you to have Leather (active X) seats (which I loath), as do many others I'm sure. The Lariat also forces you into low profile tires, which in my opinion have no place on a truck that is actually used as a truck. The 2025 Lariat forces you into 19" wheels, which are even worse.

Almost all Maverick buyers would LOVE to have a decent sounding stereo, even at an additional cost (I would pay $600-$1000 more myself), but for some bonehead reason, Ford just won't allow that anymore, unless of course, they are allowed to also force you into other options that many people want no part of (at any cost).

Maybe you can use your influence to help Ford see the errors of their ways and substantially increase the uptake of the BO system at the same time.
