Thanks for sharing @ehspeakers.
Lots of folks will be happy with the AWD Hybrid offering with available 4k tow across all trims. Plus the larger screen and Sync 4 across all trims.
The new interior color options look less polarizing.
That $27,890 starting price (for XL) after destination is disappointing.
I paid less than that for my 2023 Lariat Lux Hybrid with CP360 and CP360A.
I wonder why Ford would purportedly limit Eruption Green to one model year?
3k too much. A slightly larger screen and revised front grill and supposedly revised CVT is not worth the significant price jump. Something else was different on the XLT interior compared to last year's model (cant exactly put my finger on it). I am guessing an upcharge for the Van Halen meets Hulk smash Eruption Green especially as a 1 year only model. I wonder if Cruise and CP360 is included as standard on all trims. May make things slightly more appealing. The AWD and 4k towing on the Hybrid is a nice addition but I would question its ability to tow that much. And their HP figures for the 2.0L seemed low. Am I wrong? Honestly Id rather go with the Nissan Frontier at this price point personally despite the significant gas mileage decrease compared to the Hybrid powertrain. On the highway may not be much difrerent. Like what I found with the Ridgeline (15 city, 27 highway) which puts its closer to the Ecoboost. Lariat trim AWD is approaching Ridgeline base pricing. I wonder if the 13" Sync 4 system can be shoehorned into the previous years. And if the guage cluster has upgrades. It appeared to look different. Not sure if I like the new grill (Tremor looks sweet though. Wonder if you can get a Hybrid Tremor but may be too wimpy power wise). Not sure on the Lariat. Will need to see in person. Ill be visiting local dealer to put in a build for shits and giggles in case it takes 2 years to build one like my '23 model. Likely not but worst case ill get good info for a future purchase. I am thinking hold my wad for the proposed 2026 or 27 Plug-In Hybrid Mav or Ranger.
So I like the AWD hybrid idea but not the price or the front end. I wonder if the 2024's will drop in price. So not sure if I'm correct but it looks like the EcoBoost is only available with AWD now and is the hybrid FWD the base model?
Well not that my opinion matters but I like the bigger screen but I don't like the HVAC controls going up there and being touch , I hope there is at least haptic feedback. So just give me the bigger screen, and AWD hybrid, the old front end, and the bigger screen with HVAC knobs......
