I'm still not a fan of the peasant editions (XL/XLT).
LOL..
For those that don't realize..
After you takeaway the Seat Covering, Electronics and Wheels...
All Mavericks (XL/XLT/Lariat) are underneath ALL the Same...

So, I am OK with not getting "soaked" for the extra $15,000... ;)

hey I cant say anything bad about him, I requested for the video of that color, and he came through, so im happy. he provided a lot of footage for the interior/exterior/stuff that im interested in.

I am curious though if the 24/25 models have the same exact sound system, because I heard the lariat 24 I test drove and I was actually not upset, sounded good enough for me. other than lack of bass which is easy fix. so if it

oh yeah, another commenter said he thought they was 19x7 but he did read 19x7.5 again off this tag, so must be true, maybe its due to tow package
Donald,
I have a 2024 Lariat and this is the best sound system I have ever had. I have never been one to upgrade speakers (replace if they have gone bad) and never had an amp/subwoofer before. I am not a expert on bass/sound systems but I am very impressed with this B&O system with the subwoofer. If they use the same components in the 2025 Lariat I think you will be very please. Just my opinion and I hope it helps you out.

I don't disagree with what you are saying. You're 100% correct looking at it from a cost perspective.

Believe me, I'm not hating on the food stamp editions (XL/XLT), but I think Ford could've done a little more to make them look nicer.

Like I stated... Exterior-wise. remove the fender badge and swap out the wheels, you have pretty much the same truck...
As far as looking nicer. After the 2027-2028 redo.
All of our previous year models may look like a brick.. 🤣

I realize this isn’t 2022-2023 anymore, but I would suggest getting mud flaps and other ancillary accessories (bed mat, etc) directly from your dealer after your truck is delivered. No point in letting the delivery of your truck get delayed at the factory over minor items. Just order them after you get notification that your truck has shipped.

Good luck with your order. The Maverick is a great small truck.
Spring for the mud flaps and the bed mat. Also, we got the rain deflectors for the windows from the dealer and were somewhat disappointed in them. They work fine, just that they attach with double sided tape and there is little clearance between the deflectors and the glass. I like the WeatherTech deflectors on my '21 Ranger better as they fit into the track for the window glass (no tape) and there is a bit more space between the glass and the deflectors. I haven't researched to see if WeatherTech makes them for the Maverick.

Edit: I looked at the link for mudflaps from Amazon that someone else posted. Those would be perfectly acceptable too.

I drove an 24 lariat today, and I got to say, it sounded, excellent, even the baby woofer behind seat was really good, but I would swap that for this
I was very happy with the actual sound of that system, I hope the 25 sounds equal!

It's funny when guys post this then spend 1200$ on seat covers, another 600$ on a ford escape head unit for wireless car play, another 2 grand on an upgraded sound system, another 900$ for heated seats etc etc.

and then they strut around like they got such a good deal. As if the lariat doesn't just have all that included and done properly instead of junk pulled off amazon/aliexpress.
