I am not having a problem but my wife was. She was holding on to the loop that releases the seat and the seat would not latch up upright position. It is a two hand operation to get the seat to latch in upright position. You need to let go of the loop after unlatching it from down position and use your other hand to secure the seat in upright position. Makes sense as to release seat you pull on the loop to drop it back down. if you hold on to the loop it will not latch in upright position.

FYI you've asked this in the marketplace area of the forum; it may not get as many eyes as you might like.

Fold the back down and locate the latch on the back of the seat. When you fold the backrest back up, press firmly where the latch is located on the opposite side of the backrest. It worked for me. I picked up my new 25 2 weeks ago and I had to learn the trick.

slam it into it's upright position from one of the ends, not the front. I've thought about putting a thin shim under the latch receiver on the wall but the few times I've felt the need to keep it upright isn't worth my trouble.

Consensus on the 22's with that problem was to put it up while in passenger side. Some did shim the latch bar.
