Put on black lug nuts today.
Was it worth it?
Oh hell no.
But I hate chrome.

I can not understand why ford put chrome nuts on black wheels. It's the only bit of chrome on the entire truck. I'd have happily paid a little more. We're already $1650, what's a hundred more.

From the fwiw dept... All third party sources would only list ridiculously long two inch long lugs that were confirmed to fit.

When I checked third party sources I selected 24&25 Mavericks and was only seeing two inch lugs. Frustration got the best of me and I ordered direct ford. $$$!

This list may help you find a cheaper variant for compatible M14-1.5 black lugs.

Thanks for the side view. I won't need a locking lug on each wheel where I live. Did the locking lugs come with the set from Ford or were they extra?

Separate $$ set of four. I am also thinking about not using the wheel locks.

My dad was 43 when I was born. He was draft exempt cuz of age but was going to enlist. I think mom put the damper on that idea.

My father said he never won anything in his life except the first draft in 1941 , he was already in the Army by Pearl Harbor and got shipped out in Jan 1942 to Iceland and wouldn't be back on American soil until Sept 1945. He got one of those all expense paid trips to Europe.
