Hi Everyone,

I just traded in my '22 XL for a '25 a couple weeks ago and I'm enjoying having the AWD (despite the worse mileage).

I have run into an issue though. My truck seems to have trouble staying connected to the network and isn't sending updates. So that means its location isn't updating on my app and I don't have access to remote start or lock/unlock. Then the day before yesterday, I went out and the battery was completely dead (had to jump it). I'm not sure if the two are related or not.

The funny thing is, I'm aware of the deep sleep issue with the 12V for earlier model years (it meant I couldn't rely on the app for my '22 either) and I'm wondering if it could be something similar, but I never got any deep sleep warnings on my app. And on my 22, it took a year to become an issue. I've only had the '25 for 2 weeks....

I'll probably bring it to the dealer for this, but I'm just wondering if anyone else is having any issues?

I had the same issue. Someone else on here suggested it was the cell modem and to pull the fuse and put it back in. This reboots the modem. It worked for me. The fusebox is in the passenger footwell. Fuse is number 11.

I have noticed my 25 has failed to remote start a few times from Fordpass. This morning was one of them...

Thanks! I'll give this a shot.

I figured that this is what happened when the battery died, everything was rebooted and started working again.

But a day later, it's back to not working again. Hopefully, just a software update they can push that will fix this. I really don't want to have to leave my truck at the dealership for them to troubleshoot. I didn't have a great experience with my '22 when I brought it in for it's issues that needed software fixes.

Do you have strong AT&T cell service where you park your car overnight? If not, this could be the cause of some of your problems, including the battery issue.
