I beg to differ. The 25 has some nice upgrades: pro trailer assist package (game changer imho), 360 camera, Sync with a larger screen, dual (direct and port) fuel injection and eruption green color as a bonus!
🤣
He's talking about the "Body"...
Your talking about All "the Bells & Whistles"...

To me, having these bells and whistles overcome the "undesirable" redesign of the front end.

To each their own. To me the 22-24 looks like a native with a bone in their nose. I find the 2025 front end to be MUCH better looking.

You are right. However I think the change to the nose is light years better than the ugly "bone through the nose" look of the 22-24.

I honestly just see a guy with a stupidly curled mustache on the 2025 front end lol!

I do like the eruption green color available. I think it would be a lot on a larger truck, but it works on the maverick.

Being a low-mileage drive (90% short drives in town), I prefer the EB and planned to trade my '24 Lariat for a '25 until I learned of the GPF, which, which needs special attention to avoid problems. Somebody had posted that Ford does not put the GPF on Mavs shipped to Iowa. If true, I may reconsider and take another look at the '25.
GPF’s don’t require special attention though. It’s only edge cases where clogging has been a problem, and that problem can be solved by going for a brisk 20 minute drive. GPF behavior is quite different than DPF’s because gasoline burns much hotter and the unburnt hydrocarbon fragments are much smaller than diesel fragments, which means they will reignite much more readily.

And in europe, GPF’s started getting phased-in in 2014, which means the technology has matured for a decade. Ford has been using gpf’s on the 4 cylinder ecoboost in Europe, since at least 2019. So it’s not all doom and gloom.

Not only that, but particulate filters prevent premature deaths. Scientists estimate that particulate pollution decreases the life expectancy of the average person by 1.8-2.2 years.
