Perfect size bed

I had a 17 colorado and loved it, but hated the high bed sides. I have T-rex arms and couldn't reach didley squat. Love my Mav bed, but the bed I really loved was my 69 C-10. Long and low.

But I’m not there yet, I pretty much bought the maverick for Lowe’s trips and picking up car parts. I couldn’t ask for any more.

That's sweet. I love notchbacks. ive had few mustangs over the years but I think this is it. I see you got eruption green on your 23. I almost pulled the trigger on that color it's beautiful. Actually ordered but changed it to mischievous purple on my Mach HP.

That is absolutely beautiful. We have talked about a mischievous purple Mach 1. I think the color is underrated and will be pretty rare. I’ve seen two ecoboosts in that color in person…..that’s it. I love it.

The company that builds them (Elevation Off Grid) gets the chassis from Ford and adds all of the extras. Most people that order them pull large travel trailers or 5th wheels. They showed a video of them going out in one of the worst snow storms pulling out a jack knifed tractor trailer rig stuck on the highway.

So nice to have an efficient, four door, daily driver that also passes as light industrial..

The bed is the perfect size for 99% of my needs. But I did come across that other 1% when I trimmed my tree last week. A deeper and longer bed would have been nice to hold more tree trimmings.

I did that last week and got around the problem by surrounding my load of brush with a large tarp. The resulting load was about as high as the truck's roof.

I didn't get a pic but I got a 900 lb pallet from 2nd Harvest food bank to deliver to a pantry and it fit perfectly with the tailgate up and my hybrid drove fine. Admittedly if I am going to do this ongoing, I will strongly consider stiffer back shocks.
