2024 Tremor custom order wait time

Just ordered a 2024 Tremor XLT Lux on 11/11/23. I was curious about other peoples wait times, was told by my dealer 4-6 months, but I know from lurking on this forum that can vary wildly. Any info would be appreciated, even if you only just got a build date.



Update: Got a VIN on 11/30/23. Scheduled to be built week of 1/8/24.

Do you know your priority level with your Dealer and how many orders are ahead of you? As the old saying goes "Dealer Allocation Is King". Ordered Accessories can also make a difference - remove any constrained items. Pure Speculation on my part, 6 -8 months but my guess could be way off. I was given priority code 19 when I put my deposit down, also ordered through a pretty large dealership with a good amount of allocation. As far as constraint goes, I just did XLT Luxury with the tremor and nothing else added so I don't believe anything I have will be constrained. Not sure how to tell how many orders are ahead of me. Thanks for the response! I'm just happy to be finally posting here after months of lurking.

Awesome. Seem to recall they've changed the priority codes some since I ordered. 19 used to be the default and 10 was the best a dealer could assign, but I know that's changed some now. See if your sales person/sales mgr will give you a 10. The only way to know where ya stand on your order spot is to ask. Some dealers will tell you, some won't. Most all dealers use to be real private about their allocations but I think now Ford tells them up front how many they have for the whole model year. It's a crap shoot if they will tell you. Order my XLT Tremor 10/3/2023. It was confirmed 10/23/2023, in production 10/28/2023, built 11/03/23 and shipped 11/8/2023. Still waiting on it to arrive, but the estimate is 11/27/2023-12/10/2023. Also noting I ordered it with the trifold hard bed cover and splash guards. Not sure if I got the order in before they had issues getting those. Priority code 10 from my Ford dealer. My salesman said it was the first Tremor they ordered.

Here is my Tremor timeline. I started with a Priority 19, a week after ordering, I changed it, deleted the mud flaps, to reduce wait time. I was then given a Priority 10. After it was built, I got an email stating delivery would be Dec. 1 to
Dec. 7.

Don't get wrapped up in the "Priority Code". Ever since the pandemic, it pretty much has no effect
on when you receive your truck. Even before the Pandemic it didn't mean much. Also, the sales person is not the person who ultimately decides the Priority Code. It is the person in the back office who submits the final orders to Ford when the order is placed and more importantly the weekly allocations each week.

I can't tell if this is Star Wars or Kung Fu, but if the saleman says to me "snatch these car keys from my hand" before I can take delivery, I will not be happy.

I ordered on 9/15/23 a ‘24 Tremor XLT Lux and the original build date from ford was 12/11/23 then it jumped up to 11/20/23 then to 10/24/23 then back to 11/20/23 so a week before the 11/20 build date it got bumped back to the original date of 12/11/23. Which is still within the window the dealership told me which was the first quarter of 2024. So it’s looking good for that estimate I think. Other people have said 4-6 weeks from the actual start of the build given nothing slows the build down.

I ordered a Lariat Tremor 10/24/23. Dealer was expecting it to be built in December but nothing is confirmed. He was also expecting a confirmation last week. But crickets. So I have no idea.

Seems it. Keep in mind I think my original production date was in December. It surprised me when it moved so much.
