You are right, the rebate amount is tied to the unscheduled 23 Maverick that was ordered.

This is from program 32168 about the rebate amounts based on 23 Mav ordered:
- Eligible customers that ordered a 23MY Maverick 2.5L Hybrid XL/Lariat: $2,500
- Eligible customers that ordered a 23MY Maverick 2.5L Hybrid XLT: $3,400
- Eligible customers that ordered a 23MY Maverick 2.0L EcoBoost Gas XL/Lariat: $1,000
- Eligible customers that ordered a 23MY Maverick 2.0L EcoBoost Gas XLT: $1,900

So both your 23 and your 24 were both Hybrid Lariats?

It's unlikely there was a glitch in smart vincent. When you look up one of these programs for a customer, the amount is specified and can't be changed by the dealer. It is all automatic.

Was your 23 always a hybrid Lariat? No changing trim levels/engine at some point in the process? The only thought that I have, is that if you had a Gas XLT COVP'd, but then changed to a hybrid Lariat, maybe the rebate amount is tied to the COVP'd order?? (I know this is unlikely given the short ordering window...but that's the only explanation for a mismatch I can think of).
I had two Mavs on order. One was a '23 XLT 2.0EB and the other a '23 Lariat hybrid. I did this due to constraints on hybrids, hoping to get the XLT EB sooner. However, when neither was built and it was time to transition orders to '24, I cancelled the XLT EB. Maybe the dealer kept it for inventory and the $1900 was from the XLT that the dealer kept but was tied to my COVP?

The good news is that even though my '24 Lariat hybrid has only 180 miles on it, I am very pleased with it. Fit and finish seems to be improved over my '22 EB - partiularly the dash.

I don't know how Ford handled these private offers for customers with more than one order. I suspect that only one was generated per customer, and that the multiple 23 is the source of the glitch.

Glad you are liking your 24 hybrid!!!!

RE: How did Ford handle private offers - The offer is supposedly tied to the COVP and to the specific vehicle by VIN. With that in place, a dealer can't apply the offer to another vehicle. However, I suppose the dealer can change the email part of the COVP so the customer doesn't get notifications about the progress of their [cancelled] order the dealer in fact did not cancel but intended to add to dealer inventory. . After I cancelled the XLT I did get emails about the progress of my Lariat hybrid but nothing more about the XLT.

If it is unscheduled, there will be no VIN. But yes, I know that the order numbers over the model years were supposed to match. The COVP info includes the order number and customer address as well. If you only reordered the hybrid, and they kept the same order number as the 23 hybrid, then that is the order the private offer should have been based on.

I don't think that we can change customer emails in WBDO after COVP approval (I tried to update one once, and it didn't let me)..... but that may be a more recent change due to some issues that you mentioned!

So, I have an interesting wrinkle to add to this discussion. I called Ford marketing today to get my transition offer certificate number. The offer was found, BUT, it is not my name. It is the name of my salesman.... My home address, my phone number, my email, but not my name. Anyone else had this happen? And.... does this complicate things for me? Stopping by the dealer this week as my '24 has already been built and I'm not looking to have issues when it comes to taking delivery.
