The nearest beach around here is probably 500+ miles away--Galveston or Corpus. We live in the most beautiful (sarc) area of the country--West Texas, where you can look forever and never see a mountain or a lake, an what passes as a river (Pecos River) is pretty much a trickle.

There are some franchise BBQ places around here, but they are high. The local one in town is spotty--you can never tell when they will have anything--always out of something. Most of the good BBQ places in Texas are down in the Hill Country--Lockhart, Kyle, in that area. Growing up in Calif, I grew up on Tri Tips. Talk about good BBQ!!

I try to limit the carbs but some days it is not easy or feasible. The wife, being a nurse, is always on my case about snacking. Lost about 30 lbs prior to knee replacement surgery 3 months back as of today. Still recuperating from that--limits what I can and can't do. Still waiting to put on tonneau cover--had to order some different support brackets as the ones that came with the tonneau cover originally interfere with the rails in the bed and I can't tighten them properly. With the Chinese New Year going on getting things out of China is on hold for a week or so. Trying to get Mangoal dash cam for truck, but it will require a weird harness because I am using a recycled Gentex Auto Dimming Homelink from my 2019 Tacoma. The lady I have been talking to at Mangoal wants a picture of this and a picture of that. So hopefully they will be able to build me a harness that will allow for a clean plug and play. We will see.

What is this?!?! Tonneau clips for ants?!?!? They need to be 3 times this size! but really what are these? These would not clip any tonneau cover I know of unless youre talking about clipping a very thin area. Also that price is insane unless its not dollars.
