I have asked others why they put those on. Most say to get in the garage which is nonsense unless you are parking in a shed. So why the stubby antennae? The OEM is much shorter than the old style that was on my 2023 Silverado and 2014 F150.

Esthetically looks better to me, I also have it on my BS BL

How do you like the tailgate assist? I have looked at Mabett and Maxzina but they all look the same as the one you bought.

It comes handy, yeah they are all the same, it's a matter of price, this one I got came with everything you might need

Adding the strut shouldn't mean losing a tie-down point. I made a replacement tie-down for mine.

Works well and clears the new strut and no issues with the cable. Enjoyed making it enough that I keep making more. I have a thread here in the For Sale forum if anyone would like one. Don't lose a tie-down point!

Correct. But my bracket is only a tie-down point and does not function as a bottle opener. You'll have to walk around to the passenger side of the tailgate if you want to crack one open.
