Well - during my 20k inspection - it got me.

No lift/drop kit, no towing, no off-road, pretty gentle city/highway driving.
No noise yet. Just the right side inward boot leaking on the axle.

I asked at an alignment for a tech to note it for the record, make it easier when it did come time to complain.
Service writer actually said bring it back next week - maybe I'll get another one.
Doubtful as no issue yet - but they kept it all day, so I won't know until tomorrow.

Had to bring back anyway - I don't think they finished the alignment with a zero point calibration in the steering module, still pulled but differently. Very annoying if that's not an automatic thing by now.

Our '22 was flinging grease out from new, all over the k member and pan. Had it changed under warranty at just under 80k km's when having a timing cover leak repaired. The shaft was working fine. It takes such a minute amount of fluid to make that stain that I would wait until close to the end of the warranty period.

Cheers.

Actually replaced it even though no sound of trouble.
Perhaps it moved a bit though when they tested - or slow day needed some warranty work.
I just wanted the fact logged for down the road.

Got the SZ6Z 3B436 E version.

And while I thought my pull was related to them not recalling to do the zero point/steering angle calibration after the alignment - it was my rotating of tires that just prior that put the most worn on front right.
So the alignment fixed the majority of pull after that - tire difference kept the small annoying part.
