'22 eco boost never an issue with the brakes. 12,500 miles. '24 eco boost with 850 miles, front right started grabbing a couple of days ago. I would like to wait until 1st oil change at dealer, but if it gets worse, a day spent in the waiting room drinking bad coffee. But that's OK if it gets fixed. Love the truck, hoping it lasts as long as I do.

I'll probably mention it if I ever get the recalls done. No change so far in 7k miles. Think mine has a bit of a shimmy and the clunky AWD 4k shifts as reported on another thread. I'm not overly impressed with my first Ford, only bought it because of the Granger 3000 under MSRP deal. I do like the truck for a daily driver size wise coming from a ram 1500 but have thought about getting back into a ram if the right deal came around.

I haven't found the brakes to be touchy/grabby ever.

Mine was grabby when new. Now with 1,200 mikes, not so much. When sitting for a spell, discs do have surface rust. Then first few stops, may grab, until rust rubbed off.

I’ve seen so many posts about the hybrid having grabby brakes and needing a software update from the dealer as a possible fix, but not one single thread about this happening on the eco boost.

When applying gradual pressure to the pedal, it’s nothing…nothing…nothing until it finally just grabs hard and stops abruptly. Maybe I’m just a little slow and there is a setting or a quick fix I don’t know about. Anyone experiencing the same problem and/or know what to do to correct it?

I absolutely love my maverick otherwise, but this issue is making me not want to drive it.
My eco boost is doing it as well. Getting worse lately
