2023 xl box tie downs

I would like to use the additional threaded ports in the box of my 2023 xl maverick..... I tried to insert a 5/16" s.s. standard thread bolt but that doesn't seem to be the right thread.... has anyone used these ports and can someone help me out with the right bolt thread and size....ty

If I recall correctly you need to tap those spots to screw in the bolts, am sure someone who has done it can tell you for sure.

I should clarify....tie down ports on the side of the box...not the bottom of the box..... I believe they are already threaded from what I can see.....

The ones (on top) near the cab and near the tailgate are:

M6-1.0 x 25mm
