Tie Downs in Hybrid XL Questions

Six. Two on the tailgate that double as bottle openers, two up top near the cubby holes, and two near the bulkhead. You can add more in the pre-threaded holes all over the bed though.

The threads on the sides of the bed are M8 x 1.25. Length anything 20 or bigger will work.

The floor bed the holes are untapped. The holes are sized for M8 x 1.00 but you can tap them out to M8 x 1.25 to match upper bed rail threading. You just have to be careful tapping the hole, go slow and when you feel too much resistance back off the tap by a quarter turn then continue each time that happens. Same deal with the above length of 20 or longer will work.

I bought a set of 10 rings like this for my Maverick to add extra tie downs covering all 8 along the bed sides and 2 on the floor in the front.

I ordered factory bed floor ties downs with bolts. Do I have to do something to the holes before put screw in?
