2023 orders

Along with everyone, I'm still waiting on my Maverick order. I assume that I'm going to get rolled to a 2023 but I'm curious how that works. Will I automatically get rolled into a 2023 order or do I have to submit a new 2023 order? Then when will this take place in August when the 2023 order banks open up or at the end of October when it transitions to 2023 production?

I’m guessing, the way Ford has been working, the MY22 will become MY23 deliveries. The MY23 orders will become MY24 deliveries. That’s if we are lucky.

Dealers haven't been notified yet. But when the order banks do open, the scheduling for the 2022MY will be done. So any unscheduled orders would have to be moved to 2022MY. So I would expect orders to transition to 2023 around then.

This situation happened recently with Broncos. There are usually a few changes with the new model year like color changes or optional equipment. You will have to reconfirm your order with your dealer based upon the 2023 model, along with any changes. Your MY23 order will keep your original MY22 order date.

The dealer needs to roll it over it will keep its space in line as long as they do it correctly. If nothing need to be changed as ordered then its easy, but if a package you ordered or color isn't available now then you have to decide your changes.

I wouldn’t be waiting on them to tell me I’d get it in writing now how it works you don’t want to be waiting in January 2024
