2022 XLT with Black Leather?

Dealer out here has 2022 XLT on the lot and it appears to have black leather or something very similar. Does anyone know what packages/option would need to be chosen to get this?

It is hard to tell, but looking at the third pic you see on the but cussion there is a tag, I believe it says Katskin, which is after market leather company the does offer custom leather replacement for the Maverick.

Could very well be a aftermarket add-on from someone like Katzkin. I don't think there is any OEM pathway to a black leather interior on a MY22. Maybe ask the dealer if this is one of their installed options?

100% aftermarket. No 2022 Mav has black leather.

XL - Charcoal cloth
XLT - Blue and Grey cloth
Lariat - Brown(ish) pleather

Could it be that dealers attempt to sell is as a 2022 with “black appearance package?”

Yep, same tag here. XLT only gets cloth anyway. Wonder if this is on the used lot and the original customer upgraded the seats aftermarket then decided to sell..

Stopped to look at an Atlas Blue Explorer on a lot today and it had black ActiveX seats and they looked good. Just hoping for more black pieces and less blue pieces on the Lariat.

Yep, definitely Katzkin retrofit based on the photos. Don't even want to know how much they're trying to charge for that.

Originally a retail order so one wonders if the customer backed out, or those were installed for the customer and the dealer listed it online anyway just to show what they could do, then tell you, sorry, that one's not available.... but we have another that's just a bit more expensive!

There was at least one thread on this forum about Villa Ford and how they were on the list of dealers to avoid. I am surprised to see their exorbitant markup on a retail Maverick has been reduced from $15K to $10K.

The Katzkins look good. Yet, I wonder if they get hot enough to be a problem to sit on here in southern California. And, if anyone is interested, then I will take pictures of the black-on-black Wet Okole seat covers in my XL.
