I live in Canada in Oshawa ,Ontario ,L1G1M3 I have a 2022 Ford Maverick hybrid I was driving on Hwy 48 north side of Stoufville rd limit is 80 km per hour suddenly I had no response from engine no acceleration I press the gas pedal and was no response ,I wass loosing speed truck was slowing down and no response from gas peda,i pull over on shoulder on the gravell ,no check engine light full info on full display like speed and heath but still no response from acceleration pedal ,I turn off the ignition, I start again and I had response from the gas pedal pfffff,I was lucky I was not an a major hyw like 401 ,100 procent I will be in an accident big time on 100 km per hour, was a nightmare for me because I never lost acceleration on any cars what I had in the past ,anyway I'm glad I dint get in an accident ,I believe is a problem electrical or computer software

Not the first time someone has reported this behavior. Sounds like you need to take a trip to the dealership after talking to them.

If you Maverick was built before the middle of May 2022, you may be eligible for a customer satisfaction program that might have something to do with this. Go to the Ford Canada website, just search for recall by VIN Ford Canada, and put your VIN in to find out.

Side note, you might want to edit your post and remove your postal code, because now the entire internet knows what street you live on. ;)

Being in Oshawa I assume you will have it diagnosed at Fraser. If so, I'd be curious to know how well the service department deals with an issue like this. They have been reasonably good with my truck, but nothing that they had to dig into, just recall and TSB/customer satisfaction stuff. Situation like this, when perhaps no codes were set, would likely be more "interesting".
