Northwest Automotive Press Association has held their 26th year of their Mudfest Competition, pitting all the best SUVs and pickups against one another.
Unfortunately, the Maverick isn't out yet so this will be of modest usefulness since a direct comparison isn't yet possible, but still cool to see what else is out there or how well other vehicles you're interested in stack up so far:
