1st tow

Finally towed something with one of my Maverick’s. Used my 24 hybrid to tow a 4x8 u-haul trailer with about 1000 lb of furniture in it. Hauled it 300 miles across eastern Arkansas and up into the Ozarks. Used tow/haul and cruise control 60-65 mph 28.8 mpg hand calculated.

Wow! I had a Tundra pulling a 16' enclosed trailer and got 6 mpg. If I slowed to 50 MPH it got all the way up to 8 mpg. It did only slightly better when empty. The Tundra would get 17 mpg without the trailer.
I won't be pulling anything other than a landscape trailer with my Ecoboost Maverick, but I'm impressed with your results!

Enclosed 10x6 . 2004 5.4 liter v8 f150 10 mpg . maverick should do better but haven't needed or wanted to tow with it yet .

If I’d stayed at the mph u-haul posted on trailer(55) I’d got way better. There were a few short stretches of almost 70. On trip back which was different route of more Ozark driving got 43 mpg.
