1st day vs Higher priority number

I was curious if anyone knew how much the priority number affected an order. Will someone who ordered day one with a priority of 19 get their truck before someone who ordered the last day but with a priority of 10,11 or even 12?

Priority is internal to each dealership. Any variation in priority number will only potentially impact within that dealership. Order date at the dealership would take a backseat to priority number at that dealership.

Priority matters more. But at the same priority level it then matters the order in which the orders were entered.

An order that was put in last with a priority 10 should get scheduled before a day one priority 19 at the same dealership. However, if that priority 10 order has constrained items on the build and there are no other priority 10's that can be scheduled then a priority 19 order could be selected to be scheduled.

There are other factors that will determine whether someone with a different priority will get their order scheduled before or after. For example what the factory is looking to produce that week.

A priority code 10 placed at the last day of the order banks being open will get built before a priority code 19 placed at the first day. But if there are constraints on the priority code 10, then Ford will look at the next in line orders based upon priority code and I guess date assuming the constraints and priority code is the same.

This is all within the same dealership allocation. Priority codes between dealerships do not matter.
