WE HAVE THIS TOO!!! I was wondering where a safe place to attach it would be. Does this interfere with the airbag any? And what did you use to attach it with?

They attached it to the dash screws with wire.

Well, that makes too much sense. Guess I didn't look close enough at the picture. In my defense, I'm outside and my glasses are very dark!

Airbag deploys on top of the dash, not from the front there.
I used about 2 inches of Floral wire and tied it on the ends then carefully wrapped them around the hex screws. I just loosened the screws enough..I didn't remove them..

I bought a bunch of these emblems before the prices shot up...now I can stop wondering how they look in the dash area. Adds some heft!!!

Thanks! I've been holding off installing it because I didn't know what to put it on with. Unfortunately, his got broke, so it has a JB Weld spot on it, but it still looks ok.

Hey... Considering that it's from the early 70's, its held up well 😃.
There is a slight rattle as I drive the way mine is on since the bottom sits on that front bumpout, so I may put a bit of 'something' on the bottom of the V and E just to quiet it a bit.. Or I'll just keep the radio on... 😁

Try a bit of sticky tack. Ya know, the stuff you put up posters and such with. Wouldn't take but 1 pea sized piece split in two
