18x8 VORS SP1 Wheels + 235/60/18 Nokian Outpost ATP Tires Installed on Hybrid Maverick

Edit: they’ve now made their way over to my Ecoboost XL.

Yes it’s a hybrid with AT-lite tires.
Wheels are 18x8” +35 offset and weigh 19lbs.
Tires are 235/60/18 Nokian Outpost ATP and weigh 28.7lbs which should result in a net loss of 1lb per corner.
If you’re looking for a similar set up or looking for sport truck id also recommend looking at Momo RF Etna wheels. They’re a bit more refined but weigh about 2lbs more per wheel.
The Nokian Outpost ATP are all weather & low rolling resistance rated tires and are replacing the Rotiiva line.

Yes they are, and the Outpost ATs are even more aggressive looking.

Im curious to see what sort of fuel mileage difference you see.

My Nokian winters on my Civic actually get as good or better mileage than my all seasons.

I drove about 50miles today and the lie-o-meter increased by .3mpg. I’m still on the first tank so I won’t be able to compare hand calculated numbers.

Seems like the world is getting flooded with XL and XLT stock Ford wheels and tires with everyone on the forum changing to aftermarket.
Wonder whether I should get wheel locks or if thieves won’t be motivated to steal my oem xlt wheels.

I’ll try to take a few pictures, but this set up only moves the wheel in about 11mm.
I believe the fwd Ecoboost trucks have the same suspension.

If you’re fully insured I wouldn’t bother. If someone steals them it’s an opportunity for an upgrade and if someone actually wants to steal them the locks aren’t going to stop them.

If you’re fully insured I wouldn’t bother. If someone steals them it’s an opportunity for an upgrade and if someone actually wants to steal them the locks aren’t going to stop them.

You pay either with the deductible and or higher premiums, and the knowledge that some jerkwad has profited off of you. Wheel locks are a no-brainer, as they can always be reused and should last the life of the vehicle. If nothing else, makes you feel better knowing you have at least some protection.
