Forgive me as I’m not very knowledgeable when it comes to picking out the right size rims. I usually just go to Discount Tire and ask which ones fit.

I ordered a Lariat with FX4. The tires and rims coming in are 17”. I saw that the bolt pattern is 5x108 and the rim is 17x7. Would I assume that the 18” would have the same bolt pattern and the rim is 18x8?

Also, anyone happen to know the largest size tire that one could get without any cutting? I believe I saw a 265/60R18 around here.

17" vs. 18" is not an issue. Concern yourself with wheel offset, rim width, tire width and diameter.

Correct I saw the 265/60 R 18 had slight rub when turned an extreme position. It would be important to know his rim size.So there’s a good chance you can go one size taller if you don’t have a heavy tread/off-road pattern &or do a 1 inch left on the front.
