Thanks, I assume it can be adjusted?
I'll check when I return home.....
Still confused how mine changed on its own.
It times out when the selected time span has expired if nothing is drawing power, giving you time to exit vehicle and turn something on in flex bed. Then it will stay on until the 12v so drops to (if I remember correctly) 12.1 volts. If something plugged into it and is on when you turn truck off it stays hit until 12v so drops to trigger point. Not sure if it stays on when truck is in extended accessory mode but expect it to. This is why Manual recommends not leaving something plugged in as it could have an led ready light or even possibly a non air gap switch that has a small phantom draw.

I believe this is correct.... My radar detector announces when it powers off & I tested it the past few days. After about an hour or so I saw it was still on & 3 or 4 times when I opened the door, it shut off immediately when the interior lights went on. I'm guessing the current draw lowered the voltage enough.
I will properly wire it up to a switched circuit in the spring...
Thanks for everyone's help & assistance

My Radar detector powers off if the truck does not move for 5 minutes. If I run into the store I have to manually turn on the detector. However after what it seems like an hour it will start up on its own I assume that's because the 12 v shuts off. I don't think the load on the 12v has anything to do with when it turns off. At least until the battery is depleted.

If I reset my BMS the 12V works in the tailgate after turning off the Maverick. Then it stope working a few days later. Then I reset the BMS and it works again for 1 day.

Some of the GM trucks, the fuse has 2 positions, in say the top and middle position the 12v outlet is constant power, the bottom and middle position is accessory power. Very nice to be able to change it's behavior.

My XL hybrid has a setting in forscan. The default is 4500 seconds.
Interesting! Do you recall where this setting is located? I'm thinking of tweaking it to remain on for a solid two hours instead of the default 75 minutes.

We have a powered cooler that will shut itself down if it senses a voltage drop while plugged in, and the plan is to plug it into the 400w plug in the bed while in transit to the campsite. Once there it would powered from the site's electrical post (we're almost-glamping campers: modern campsites only).
