Sure thats the right one? Amazon says it does not fit the Mav and it's a speaker connector.I had the one with the truck but also bought these from Amazon and they worked great

Exactly. I m pushing 70 and lucky I can use my cell phoneAlways wonder what Forsd just didn't put in a standard 12V receptacle. Instead of dealing with this pigtail.
I just sent a set back to Amazon. Most have small "speaker" wires. They are not the correct gauge for a 20a fused circuit. They were even advertised for the the Maverick FlexBed.I had the one with the truck but also bought these from Amazon and they worked great

I have one of them installed from the OEM bed light wiring to my new LED's and have had no issues. Still have one left...........the wires seem larger to me than what I have it plugged into, but that could be due to the outer sleeve? I got the link from a post here on the forum........Sure thats the right one? Amazon says it does not fit the Mav and it's a speaker connector.
Fords concept for this truck is for you to finish out the truck the way you want. Plus the fewer bits and pieces they put in it reduces cost of the truck.Always wonder what Forsd just didn't put in a standard 12V receptacle. Instead of dealing with this pigtail.
The whole idea was to provide so much more than just a 12V outlet. It's a truck bed, they wanted you to have the ability to use the wires to hardwire whatever you wanted. One example would be to run some LED light strips - you've got wires right there waiting for you to tap into them. Part of the "Flexbed" marketing - you can make the truck your own, DIY-style. The video even shows installing your own 12V outlet if you wanted to run a compressor.Always wonder what Forsd just didn't put in a standard 12V receptacle. Instead of dealing with this pigtail.
