Oof. Hopefully my GM was right when he thought he had enough hybrid allocations for me then!
The dealers were told during the summer how many to expect. Mainly the reason only the XL is no longer taking orders. Dealers know what to expect and should have only placed enough orders to cover their allocation.

I think ford is stringing us along to try and get as much ADM before it crashes. “Make them wait another week and we will have some more jump ship.”

Ford doesn't receive a dime of any ADM, that's all dealer markup.

I hope so, my salesperson told me that they don’t know their allocations and then stopped responding to my emails. Even if mine gets built, I guess there is no guarantee I will get it. A friend of mine at work referred me to this stealership and salesman. Said he had a great experience. Although I trusted him about his solar guy too, and my experience has been less than favorable. My wife told me to stop trusting him 😆

Same here, I had to send an email to the general manager, who was much more helpful

ETA:

  • ⏰ Time email was received (include time zone!). 12:00 noon EST
  • 📅 Your scheduled build week Feb 19, 2024
  • 🔢The last 5 digits of your VIN with the last two numbers X'd out (e.g.: 234XX) 352xx
  • 🛻 All relevant build info (e.g., atlas blue hybrid lariat lux + all weather mats) Plain old XL hybrid with trailer hitch. Cactus gray.
  • 📍 Your region, if comfortable (e.g., southern California or even Los Angeles, CA) Florida
  • 🗓 Your original order date (and whether or not you are a MY23 carryover) Sept 17, 2022, roll over
