I couldn't have ask for more of a perfect daily driver. You averaged 42ish MPG on our 40 mile daily commute, you fit 3 kids in the back seat and handled all of my light duty landscaping requests. Before I looked for the Maverick I was looking for a 2022 Civic SI to fulfil my Manual/sports car craving but there was anywhere from a 5k-7k mark up on every one I found. Coming from a 2018 VW Tiguan the Maverick hit it out of the park. The both of them together would be my perfect 2 car solution. After about a year and a half wait I finally found a 2023 SI at MSRP.

Haha its been a little sketchy at times but have had a pretty easy winter here so far which im thankful for . I definitely would keep them both if I could. My other half has a WRX ordered so there was no convincing her to take the maverick lol

Out of curiosity, how was the trade-in value of the Maverick? My guess is that it brought close to what you paid for it, or above.

Trade in value was fantastic, I was able to get below sticker on the Maverick which was an added bonus. The positive equity paid off my 2 years of payments, disposition fee for the lease and also allowed me to put down a good amount on the SI. The used car market is crashing but luckily the hybrid supply is low and the demand is still very high. If I had an eco boost Im sure it would have not been as good

Love the Maverick. However, I come from a primarily Honda owner family ( 1984 Accord / 1993 Civic Si / 1995 Honda Accord / 2000 Odyssey / 2008 CRV / 2013 Acura MDX (Pilot in a tuxedo) . Great car company and the new generation Civic is fantastic . Many happy miles

Thank you! No buyers remorse yet lol. Its just so far a kick in the nuts every time I fill up. I never thought id be upset about 30mpg. The Maverick has ruined me for MPG
