Google the term ruthenium plugs and you will see all about them. I learned when I had a cng natural gas car and needed plugs. Natural gas is brutal on plugs and it burns very hot and dry although it is a super clean fuel.

The metal is more durable than platinum or iridium.

N G K. made the ones I bought. About $10 ea.

I just can’t justify $20.00 Canadian at Canadian Tire, taxes included for 1 spark plug!!! $80 for 4, don’t think so.

Over most of my driving over the last two decades or so Iridium plugs always lasted beyond 150,000 miles. That’s more than enough. I’ll trade in for a new vehicle well before 150,000

I had them in 2 vehicles and had excellent results. Installed them once in each CNG vehicle and no problems. Just my specific experience.

I think I’ll stick with Iridium’s for the same reasons.
