Left home Monday 8/15 at 7842 on the odometer. Returned home this morning (8/22) at 9837.
Went to Greensburg and returned home briefly due to a f-up, got gas again in Ohio due to price. then southeast through PA on two lane to Breezewood and then got on 70 and went to the DC Beltway. Drove through Fairfax and Manassas on streets before following two lane and rural four lane through Central Virginia to Roxboro, North Carolina. Finally bought gas in Roxboro just before 600 miles because the price was gonna go up heading through Charlotte.
Then all freeway from Mebane to Buford, Georgia. Bought gas cheap in SC in the morning for 3.199/g. A lot of two lane, and freeway around the suburban and urban Atlanta area. Left on two lanes to avoid Atlanta loop northwest to 411 and then cut NW to Cleveland TN. Stopped for gas in Georgia for 31899/g. Then all freeway all day to Youngstown, Ohio.

And no, I wasn't always Driving Miss Daisy.
I did this just to prove that yes the hybrid goes to electric mode even at 80. Though it's incredibly brief and you have no ability to accelerate without kicking into hybrid. But it is in electric mode.
Overall this truck has so much pep and sips gas, I can't believe they sell it at the price they do.
