Whose estimate is the 20-28 weeks? I do expect a long wait but that is quite long. Has anyone, even those who ordered a hybrid long ago, got their truck yet? If so, how long did it take?

My dealer warned me, before I place my order for the Hybrid Lariat Lux, that it would likely be 20-28 weeks before I saw my new vehicle. I'm not in the situation of needing a new vehicle "now" and am willing to accept this time frame.. Although I won't be heartbroken if it's delivered early.

A week ago I went to my dealer to buy the black Maverick XL hybrid they were advertising on their website. Duh! An hour later I left with an order for the same vehicle but in Velocity Blue. Nothing fancy, CO-PILOT 360 a must. I hope my 2001 Ranger will hold up until we get this beauty!

On October 29th, I had my salesman change my truck to an XLT, same options. 20 minutes ago, I got the official order confirmation email from Ford. Now I can relax and hope that the remnants of the Maine winter has been flushed from the roads before I can take delivery. Not that I wouldn't pick it up next week if I got the call.

Ordered Carbonised Grey, Lariat Lux Hybrid 10/19 would have loved it for the ski season but will do great for the spring shooting and summer sailing!
