Well this sucks. I got an email today saying that the week that my Cyber orange Ford Maverick Lariat to be built has changed. It was 10/25/21 but now it is 11/8/21.

The Parents order has also changed as well. It was 11/8/21 but now it is 11/15/21.

Oh well I guess it can't be help with all the shortages.

Put down a $500 refundable deposit & signed the papers over lunch today (10/25), estimated delivery in 20-28 weeks. Only reason I foresee cancelling my order & requesting my $500 back will be if, when the dealership gets a demo vehicle next month and I can sit in it, I find that it's too cramped/uncomfortable (I'm not ... err ... thin). <fingers crossed>

Hybrid in Cyber Orange (just seems right for something dealing with electricity  ) with Lariat Trim, Lariat Luxury Package (inc Co-pilot 360), Rollup hard tonneau cover, Moonroof, Black painted wheels. Planning on a few dealer installed options once it arrives. Basically I'm getting all of the luxury & quality of life options.

Currently drive a 2018 Subaru Outback Touring. I realize I'm stepping down in overall luxury, but I'm losing the family & friends with trucks that have helped me over the years with dump runs and taking my snow blower and mowers in for service as they move out of state or into assisted living facilities. So I'm willing to trade some of that luxury for utility. Long lead time is a little disappointing, but I don't *need* a new vehicle right now, altho I would like it before gas prices get tooooo much higher. Local news was saying last week that CT could see $5 and maybe even $6/gal prices by next summer.

Reserved 6/8. Confirmed 6/16.
Was originally scheduled for production week of 10/4, then 10/11.
Now- who knows?

Maybe January.

Just joined the very l--o--n--g line today (10/25/21). Ford has already confirmed the order for a Cactus Gray XL. Kept it simple with Co-Pilot 360, 400W Inverter, Trailer Hitch, and Spray-In Bedliner the only options. I will likely add a tonneau cover (hard tri-fold) from my dealer after the truck arrives as well as a remote keypad. I ordered from Kendall Ford of Meridian, ID. (I used to work for them doing photos of vehicles for their website).

Where did you hear the estimate of 20-28 weeks? Does that mean those of us who just joined the line will get 2023 rather than 2022 Mavericks? :D

That's the estimate the dealer gave me before I decided to go ahead with the purchase. I would "assume" (and yes, I know what that word breaks down to ;) ) it is based on conversations they've had with their Ford Rep.

Those who order now before the Hybrid order cut-off date, which is sometime in November, will get the 2022 Maverick (MY22).

When the order cut-off happens you will not be able to order the Hybrid Maverick until the earliest of June 2022 and those orders will be for the 2023 Maverick (MY23).

The estimated delivery in 20-28 weeks (5 - 7 months) for the Hybrid just ordered seems reasonable because of the current backlog of Hybrid orders and that Ford will be shutting down ordering for Hybrids next month because at that time they will have filled up all available manufacturing slots for the entire MY22 Hybrid Maverick.

Whose estimate is the 20-28 weeks? I do expect a long wait but that is quite long. Has anyone, even those who ordered a hybrid long ago, got their truck yet? If so, how long did it take?
